HOME RENOVATION CRAFTSMAN
Job Description: Skilled craftsman with experience working in Home Renovation. Applicant must be able to show their abilities in: Framing; Finishing; Painting: General Repair and Sheetrock Repair. Tile and other flooring installation abilities are a plus. Applicant must be able to follow instructions and work under the supervision of the Master Craftsman. Work must be performed in a professional and timely manner and must meet the highest quality of standards at all times. Candidate will be working with clients on a daily basis and must present a clean, professional image and exude good people skills. Must possess a valid drivers license and transportation. Tools are a plus.
Compensation: $15+ hourly (Based on Skill)
MAINTENANCE SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Job Description: We’re currently soliciting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for current and future Maintenance Service Technician positions. We’re continually developing new contracts with various facilities that require the services of a qualified technician to handle their daily facility maintenance needs. As an employee of Poquoson Construction, LLC you will be assigned to one of these contracts and handle the daily maintenance repairs of their facility as well as regular weekly/monthly preventative maintenance tasks.
Successful candidates must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent as well as technical training in one or more trades and a minimum of 3+ years experience as a Maintenance Technician with a proven track record of satisfactory performance while working with limited supervision. Applicant must present a clean and professional appearance and personality as you’ll be dealing with our clients and their tenants on a daily basis. Applicant must have required tools of the trade, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. All applicants must be willing to consent to a complete background check to include a criminal records check, credit history inquiry and pre-employment drug screening.

Upon successful completion of our 2 day in-house Screening, Training and Certification process (STaC) you will be assigned to one of our clients (if/when available) and will report for assignment daily or as per contracted by client. You will be required to report in a timely manner and wear a company issued uniform at all times while working at your assigned facility.
Depending on your assigned facility you may be required to be available to work Holidays, weekends, overtime and be available on an on-call basis. Hours to be worked will be determined by client contracts; however we will make all efforts possible to provide you as many hours as possible or desired even if it requires assignment to multiple facilities.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Job Description: Recording financial transactions (such as checks written and received); managing accounts payable and receivable; reconciling bank statements; updating the trial balance, profit-and-loss statement and balance sheet; managing payroll; invoicing clients; making federal and state tax deposits; and completing annual tax forms, such as W-2s and 1099s.
A strong background in QuickBooks is required. Must have knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and possess strong numerical abilities. Applicant must be strongly self motivated, good at math and reasoning, and who is concerned with accuracy. Must be able to handle job cost accounting in a spreadsheet outside of the accounting package.
There is a current backlog of entries which will need to be updated so plan on a busy first month. After which this should be a simple and easy part time position.
